Editorial/Content Internship
Magazine Editorial Support
- Work with Editor to generate content for specific sections (Gallery etc…)
- Write short features with the Editor’s direction
- Help Editor cover events, tournaments and specific news
- Research stories, create files and gather photography
- Proofread articles and pages
Website Content Support
- Assist with content generation for online News pages
- Assist with video collection and generation for online Instruction page
- Assist with Gear Page content and management
- Assist with Travel Talk, a specific weekly travel blog
- Assist with all travel-related posts and content management
E-Marketing Content Support
- Assist with the coordination of the content featured in weekly e-newsletter
- Assist in management and quality control of exclusive e-blasts
Social Media
- Responsible for generating all “non-advertising” content featured on Facebook and Twitter
Requirements and Desirable Traits:
- Expertise in content generation/journalism a must
- Knowledge of local/regional golf scene

Digital Media Internship
Website Support
- Help support Digital Media Manager with all aspects of maintaining the CAG website platform
- Help support Digital Media Manager with all aspects of marketing and growing the CAG website
E-Marketing Support
- Assist with client deliverable organization
- Assist with regular e-newsletter organization and creation
- Assist with exclusive e-blast campaigns and execution
- Assist with marketing strategies to grow e-database
Social Media Support
- Assist with the management of all social media platforms
- Provide coordination support on other social media platforms as they are created (ex: pinterest)
- Responsible for generating all “non advertising” content featured on Facebook and Twitter
Requirements and Desirable Traits:
- Experience in digital and social media
- Experience in database growth
- Detail oriented – ability to lend an editorial eye to web content
- Creative perspective – from properly formatting web articles to how to connect all dots for a full 360-degree digital approach
- Ability to work in Photoshop (access to Photoshop preferred)

Special Events/Golf Passport Internship
Special Event Platform

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Help organize player rosters, confirm handicaps, etc.
- Assist onsite execution at all events
- Management of client sponsorship execution
- Assist with Customer service related issues
- Help establish and execute marketing programs
- Assist in developing, implementing and executing an effective sales and marketing strategy for each special event
- Assist in management of all administrative and operational aspects of the events that include: sponsor fulfillment, staff coordination, player and guest communication
Golf Passport Program
The Golf Passport is Colorado’s premier golf discount membership. The program has a 5,000 person membership and is sold for $79.95
Your Responsibilities include:
- Assist in initial Golf Passport fulfillment and distribution.
- Help create a Golf Passport that is the undisputed leader in the market place
- Coordinate sales with third party partners such as: King Soopers, Colorado Ski & Golf and PGA TOUR Superstore
- Develop relationships with courses throughout the year and maintain the relationship on an on-going basis. (Update/Follow-up calls)
- Assist with maintaining the digital platform and marketing of the Golf Passport
- Administration and Customer Service of Golf Passport
- Assist in managing the CGA/CWGA relationship and Colorado AvidGolfer Handicap Club
Requirements and Desirable Traits:
- Typing skills are a must because correct data entry is crucial
- Detail oriented, highly organized
- Self starter, capable of multi-tasking
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Task oriented
- Progressive marketing expertise/focus
- Basic knowledge of media business is a plus, but not necessary

Art and Design Internship
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with design of sales sheets/ supportive marketing materials
- Assist with CAG media kits (for digital and print)
- Assist on special advertising sections (i.e. photo/ asset collection, organization, Photoshop photo editing, etc.)
- Assist with other marketing related projects as needed including but not limited to: ads for print and digital, event invitations, Golf Passport marketing collateral
- Client Ad Support
- Assist with the design of client ads when needed
Magazine Production Support
- Assist Art Director with overall print production work
- Assist Art Director with photo shoots
- Assist Art Director with photo/asset collection
- Assist with photo editing/color correction for magazine; raster (Photoshop)
- Assist with formatting/ recreating logos for vector use (Illustrator)
- Assist with proofing content and layout prior to print
Requirements and Desirable Traits:
- Design knowledge and/ or layout expertise a must
- Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A creative mind with ability to be task oriented
- Self starter, capable of multi-tasking
- Reliable and flexible
