The Bridges: A Stunning Club on the Colorado Western Slope

The Bridges Golf Club is a stunning semi-private golf course community located in the southwest part of Colorado that features a Nicklaus-designed golf course, a 24,000-square-foot clubhouse and views that will take your breath away. Lew Thompson, a trucking executive from northwest Arkansas, purchased the club in 2010 from the FDIC. PGA Professional Eric Feely, former General Manger of Redlands Mesa, was hired shortly thereafter to oversee all daily operations of the multi-faceted club. The Bridges has become a hub of activity for the community of Montrose and hosts many community and charity events each year, along with a charity concert every June. The Bridges has hosted several popular bands in the past including Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Sawyer Brown, Firefall, Lonestar, Restless Heart and most recently Little River Band. The Bridges is a popular venue for weddings and provides on-site food and beverage and accommodations for wedding guests.

The well-appointed clubhouse is home to the award winning Remington’s restaurant that features casual dining with fabulous views and a Wine Spectator Awarded wine list. Remington’s serves lunch and dinner seven days a week along with Sunday brunch. Seven beautiful suites are located in the clubhouse and adjacent villa. The Nicklaus-designed Par 71 golf course is a true test of golf that features 85 bunkers and many well-positioned water hazards.
