Quick Fix: How to stripe your hybrid

The all-important hybrid. For the better part of the last two decades this club had found it’s way into countless golf bags across the world. The hybrid is designed to give golfers the distance of a fairway metal with the forgiveness of an iron— which is where the term “rescue club” originated. Now, that sounds easy enough to control, right? Not for everyone necessarily.

So if you’re a golfer who struggles to hit your hybrids consistently, you’re in the right place.

We know you don’t have much time on the range to watch videos, so check out this super-short hybrid quick-fix from NBC Golf’s Michael Breed and get to work!

  • Don’t pull your chest up and out of the shot
    • This results in topping and pushing the ball away from the target line
  • Keep your chest down through the shot
    • Don’t worry about watching the ball on the range, keep your chest pointed toward the lead foot
  • Turn through the ball at impact, not up and away from it!
