Experience golf the way nature intended!

Formerly the Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor, the new Walnut Creek Golf Preserve moniker is more than just a simple name change. Since opening nearly 18 years ago, this City of Westminster course immediately became well-known for its unique, natural setting and scenic views. Westminster has strengthened their commitment to sustainability as well as the preservation of the unique biodiversity, evident amongst the native flora and fauna. The new name, Walnut Creek Golf Preserve, more accurately captures what golfers experience when they play the course – a chance to enjoy a challenging, championship course while exploring one of Colorado’s most naturally pristine landscapes.

Walnut Creek Golf Preserve is home to more than 77 wildlife species and a wide variety of native plants. It’s not uncommon to see bald eagles, great horned owls or one of the 50 other resident bird species while visiting. Walnut Creek Golf Preserve is also a model of sustainability.

Three years after the course opened, it was designated an Audubon International Certified Signature Sanctuary. This honor has only been bestowed on one other course in Colorado. Golfers are immersed in sweeping mountain views, gently rolling hills, an abundance of wildlife and picturesque wild prairie grasses–experiencing golf the way nature intended.
