Ravenna’s New Pool, Fitness Center, Sunset Terrace Nears Completion

The facility is on track to open later this summer and members can see the progress every day as the impressive structure looms just inside the gates and just off the scenic driving range and practice area.

“La Bella Vita” will complete the first phase of Ravenna’s Clubhouse Project

The Club at Ravenna is home to one of the most breathtaking courses in Colorado, with both national and local recognition to back it up. Among other awards, it has been named as a Top 100 U.S. Residential Course by Golfweek for eight years running and for the last two years has been named by Colorado AvidGolfer as a Best Denver Region Private Club in the CAGGY Awards.

But now the secret has long been out about the treasure that awaits in Littleton, just south of Chatfield Reservoir and tucked between the Dakota Hogback and Pike National Forest. Membership has exploded and is expected to be near capacity by the end of next year, only 82 of the 243 total home lots remain and new amenities being added to the golf course and restaurant are completing a club experience as distinctive as the landscape surrounding Ravenna.

This summer will see the Schomp BMW Cup coming to Ravenna as well as the opening of the club’s brand new short game practice area. But the anticipation surrounding the new pool and fitness center (the first phase of the Clubhouse Project which also includes the new 24,600 sq. foot clubhouse) is what has members buzzing the most about.

Named La Bella Vita (which translates to “the good life” in Italian), the facility includes a fitness and wellness center, pool, hot tub, men’s and women’s locker rooms, kitchen, performance pavilion for live music, fire pit and a rooftop sunset terrace where members and guests can enjoy happy hours and entertainment. The pool will be surrounded by both a large grass lawn as well as poolside cabanas, all serviced by the Dante Grille.

The uniqueness of the atmosphere and ambiance of the 11,000-square foot building combined with the majestic views and red rocks will make it a hot spot for club special events as well as customized private parties, truly encapsulating “the good life.”

The gym itself will be run by 1000 Hills Fitness, who has partnered with Ravenna to provide state-of-the-art equipment – including the Technogym line imported from Italy – as well as an abundance of inspired programs and classes to fit the needs of a diverse membership including personalized training, wellness and group classes. Views of the red rocks out of the expansive windows along with more distinctive touches such as a yoga wall, golf-specific training and floating yoga mats will further personify the club’s tagline of “Escape Within.”

The facility is on track to open later this summer and members can see the progress every day as the impressive structure looms just inside the gates and just off the scenic driving range and practice area. As the building moves closer to completion, Ravenna members patiently await the newest amenity that will have them kicking back to sunset views after a day of golf or taking a dip in the pool after a sweat-inducing workout. Now that sounds like a good life, indeed.
