Tips for Playing Golf in The Rain

Rain Golf Tips

Spring may bring rainy days, but you can still get on the course if you’re prepared. Here are a few tips to play golf in the rain:

  • Remember your gear – Bring a few extra gloves and towels.
  • Dry the ball off and keep it dry – While it may be tricky, do your best to keep the ball and club face as dry as possible. This will help with errant shots.
  • Adapt to the new course – As the weather conditions change, the course will present new challenges. Keep this in mind when determining your shot.
  • Thunder and lighting – Get off the course! This one may be obvious but bears repeating. If you hear thunder, lighting may be near.
