PGA TOUR Superstore, the country’s leading golf retailer, will host its first annual “Women’s Golf Appreciation Day,” this Saturday, May 11th.
Complimentary gift bags valued at more than $50 will be given to the first 50 guests; prizes for putting and closest-to-the pin contests. Drawings for apparel, equipment and gift cards. There will also be a free clinic focused on pitching and iron play from 10-11 a.m.
“Women are truly helping to drive today’s growth of golf and it is exciting to see that nearly a third of all beginner golfers are women,’ said Jill Spiegel, SVP Merchandising, PGA TOUR Superstore. “We are committed to inspiring people to enjoy the game of golf by offering a fun environment, tips to improve their game and an enormous selection of equipment and apparel.”
Inside PGA TOUR Superstore, golf enthusiasts of all levels can experience in-house custom club fittings and repair, along with lessons and clinics from certified teaching professionals. Practice hitting bays with swing analysis software, interactive simulators, putting greens are available for customers use.
Year round, PGA TOUR Superstore is committed to inspiring people to play their best by hosting free Kids Zone clinics the third Saturday of each month from 9-11 a.m., along with a Get Golf Ready Ladies Program and virtual nine-hole leagues on in-store simulators. Its work with The First Tee of Denver has impacted thousands of young people across the Denver community with charitable contributions to deliver education programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
