2nd Annual Frisco Triathlon

On Saturday, July 18, the town of Frisco will host the 2nd annual Frisco Triathlon.

Unlike a traditional triathlon where competitors run, bike and swim. In the Frisco Triathlon, participants will run, bike and paddle board across Dillon Reservoir. After the 3k stand up paddle board leg, participants will swith to a 15k mountain bike race and finish with a 5k run.

The race will start at the Frisco Bay Marina and finish at Pine Cove Boat Ramp. All of the following legs of the race will start and finish at the Pine Cove Marina. Therefore, participants can drop their gear off at the Pine Cove Camprgound to be watched by the event staff.

Participants in the triathlon can pick up their race packets on Saturday, July 18 at 7:00-8:30. The race will start following the packet pick up. 

For late registers, there is a Day-of Registration Fee of $75/individual or $210/team of three.  The registration involves a post-race meal, free beer from New Belgium Brewery and awards that will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male , female and team finishers.  There will also be prize giveaways at the post-race party.

Along with the Frisco Triathlon, between July 18-20, Frisco will also host the Courage Classic along with many other events throughout the weekend.
