This course is very beautiful and challenging. The front 9 fairways are tight and lined with trees and deep rough. The back 9 fairways are wide open and have a lot of water hazards that come into affect. The greens are lightning fast and very challenging to read the break.

Not a bad place to play. Definitely a challenge with all the hills. Greens are nice. Definitely looking like there is a lot of development going on I could see this turning into an 18 hole course in the future.

The fairways need cut the grass looked more like rough and had ragweed growing on it. The greens are horrible. They have crab grass growing on them, they are dry and are not taken care of very well. The gnats on this course are horrendous and very irratating. This course has a lot of water and the bugs are worse close to the stagnate water. The fairways are narrow with 3 ft grass just off of them so if you hit your ball left or right you might as well forget about finding it.

It's been a while since I have golfed here, however today I went and the greens are in good condition, the grass is well kept between the tee box and green. The only bad thing about my round today was there was a lot of gnats and other small insects flying around and kept flying in my face while trying to swing.

Bugs are bad on this course. Greens were pretty fast. Grass was well kept.

Well a lot of improvement was made over the last year compared to the last time i played here. Still a lot of bugs on the back 9. The fairways are much better and the greens have had a lot of improvement on them too.

I golf black hawk every thursday and enjoy each visit. Garen Steele the pro there is a very nice gentleman and is friendly and courteous to everyone.
