Arthur's 66 Claims HealthONE Colorado Senior Open Title

Perry Arthur from Plano, Tex. came from behind to claim the title at the 2010 HealthONE Colorado Senior Open at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. With a bogey-free final round 66 to tie the low round of the tournament, he claimed the championship by one stroke over Bob Niger From El Dorado Hills, CA with a 54-hole total of 209 (-7).

Niger, who had led the first two rounds, started the final round with birdies on two of the first three holes. But then he bogeyed 5, 8 and 9 to make the turn at 1-over par. Arthur, who started the day five shots behind Niger, fired five birdies on the front nine, taking the lead and never looking back.

For their efforts, Arthur earned $8,500, Niger $5,000.

Kean Ridd of Springville, UT and Wayne Wright from Fort Worth, TX shared the prize money for the low Super Senior with three day totals of 219 (+3).  Sean Forey of Morrison, CO earned his second Low Amateur title.  For complete results, click here.
