CWGA Mashie Championship Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club and Saddle Rock Golf Course

Description: Format: Four-Ball Match Play. Two play their better ball against the better ball of two other players. Teams are pre-flighted according to combined Handicap Index (based on the June 1th revision) with eight teams per flight. Each flight has a consolation bracket for teams eliminated in the first round matches. Teams will play both courses with final matches played at Heritage Eagle Bend GC. Teams forfeiting their first match will not be eligible to compete in consolation round matches.

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded within each flight to the winners, runners-up, and consolation winners. Championship Flight winners and runners-up receive team trophies in addition to merchandise gift certificates. Matches that are tied after 18 holes will be extended in a hole-by-hole playoff beginning on the hole where the match began.

Handicap Limit: 30
It is recommended that partners play within eight strokes of each other. If the difference between the two Course Handicaps is greater than eight, the higher Course Handicap will be reduced accordingly.

NOTE: Because adjustments will be made to the Handicap Index, there may be more than an eight stroke difference between the Course Handicaps.

During matches, the Course Handicaps of all four players are reduced by the Course Handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who shall then play at scratch. Each of the three other players is allowed 100% of the difference.

All flights play with handicap except Championship Flight.
Limited To: The field is limited to 128 teams.
