CWGA Junior Stroke Play Championship

June 26th - 28th, 2012

Tuesday - Thursday

Description: Format: Individual Stroke Play. Championship Flight is comprised of the lowest 9 gross scores plus ties after 36 holes of play.
First Flight is comprised of the next lowest 9 gross scores plus ties. All other flights will be determined by gross score after 18 holes of play with approximately 9 players per flight.
Associated Organizations: Colorado Women's Golf Association
Prizes: Trophies/commemorative prizes are awarded for the top three finishers within each flight. The person with the lowest gross score for 54 holes in Championship Flight is the State Champion.

This is an AJGA Performance Based Entry.

The top three finishers will recieve one AJGA tournament exemption.

Ties for low gross in Championship Flight are played off in a
hole-by-hole playoff.
For all other ties, score cards are matched
and the winner is determined based upon comparison of scores for the last nine holes, then if needed the last 6, last 3, then final hole.
If this procedure does not determine a winner, a coin will be tossed to settle the tie.

All flights are played at scratch--no strokes are awarded.
Limited To: The field is limited to the 72 entrants with the lowest Handicap Indexes. A waiting list shall be developed once the field has been determined. This list will be ranked first by Handicap Index then by date and time entries are received by the CWGA.
