CWGA Club Team Championship at the Country Club of Colorado

September 24th - 25th, 2012

Monday - Tuesday

Description: Format: ABCD Team Stroke Play. The gross scores of all four team members are combined for the team score. The team who plays the stipulated round in the fewest number of combined strokes is the winner. All four members of the team must be members of the same CWGA member club.

Each team is paired together. Player A is designated as each team's captain and serves as official scorekeeper.

NOTE: A women's club or golf facility (course) may assist their team with the following expenses: entry fee, transportation, lodging, meals, practice round green fees, and cart fees. This is permissable under the Rules of Amateur Status.

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top gross finishes. The team with the lowest gross team score is the State Champion.

Ties for low gross are determined by a hole-by-hole playoff. For all other ties, prize money is combined and divided equally among tied teams.

Each team shall consist of one player from each of the following four Handicap Index ranges: A) up to 12.0, B) 10.0-20.0, C) 18.0-28.0, and D) 26.0-36.0. Handicap Indexes will be verified on the entry deadline (based on the September 1st revision). The event is played at scratch--no strokes are awarded.
Limited To: The field is limited 30 teams. Each CWGA member club is limited to one team entry. One team from the host club and defending champions' club (meeting all eligibility requirements) will be admitted automatically to the field.
