CWGA Brassie Championship at Dos Rios Golf Club

September 15th - 16th, 2012

Saturday - Sunday

Description: Format: Four-Ball Stroke Play. Two competitors play as partners, each playing her own ball. The lower of the of the partner's scores is the team score for the hole.

Teams are pre-flighted according to combined Course Handicap (based on the September 1st revision) with approximately eight teams per flight. All flights will compete for gross and net prizes.

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top gross and net finishes within each flight (expect gross prizes only for Championship Flight).The Championship Flight team with the lowest gross score for 36 holes receives a team trophy and is the State Champion.

Ties for low gross in the Championship Flight are determined by a hole-by-hole playoff. For all other ties, prize money is combined and divided equally among tied teams.

Handicap Limit: 30
It is recommended that partners play within eight strokes of each other. If the difference between the two Course Handicaps is greater than eight, the Course Handicap of each partner will be reduced by an additional 10%. All players will compete at 95% of handicap.
Limited To: The field is limited to 50 teams. The CWGA Oversubscribed Tournament Policy will be invoked if the number of teams entered exceeds the field limit.
