pinhigh,
I’ll tell you up front that my husband and I own Fox Acres, so I’m a little biased, but I do know the answers to your questions. Being that Fox Acres is a private club, the Avid Golfer is just about the only way for a non-member to play the course, and we welcome you and other Passport holders to do so. You do not take a property tour; all you have to do is enjoy an amazing round of golf in a setting you won’t soon forget! Passport holders can make tee times up to 14 days in advance. On Tuesday-Thursday you can play anytime after 11am. On Friday to Sunday you can start play anytime after 1pm. After 2pm you can play as many holes as you’d like (36?) until it gets dark. I don’t know when you are planning to come, but remember our course is at 8200 ft, and therefore weather can be iffy the end of May, but June thru Sept is just spectacular. Overnight accommodations are available if needed. I’m excited that you’re planning to play our course and hope you’ll grab a meal in our Grille. Have a wonderful time!

Randy, The course is in red feather lakes. This is a little area just west and north of Fort Collins Colorado. Pinhigh, this is a course that I would love to play this summer, so if you are intersted in a second, let me know.

There is a comprehensive “course tour” on the foxacres.com website that will surely get you excited for the golf season, if you’re not already!

LeAnne, Thank you so much for the response. My apologies for just now getting back. At this point we have confirmed everything with Fox Acres and are ready to go! We’ll be there on Friday, June 13th…we’ll have to try to Grill as well. Colohacker…we have a foursome, but I appreciate your offer and hope you find a way to play FA this summer. I’m pumped!
Has anyone used the Avid Golfer Pass to play Fox Acres in Red Feather Lakes? You don’t have to take a property tour or anything, do you? Do you know how far in advance one can make tee times at Fox Acres? I’m travelling from TX and I want to get this right! Thanks.
