The best kept secret in the Panhandle of Florida. I have a timeshare at the Marriott where there are two fantastic courses, one tree lined and tight and the other curves and bends around water and swamp land. The water course has just been redesigned and is great. Additionally, in the surrounding area you can’t hit a pitching wedge without hitting a course. Who needs Myrtle Beach? Contact me for more info if interested at bsolomonic@casselberry.org.

I remember playing Lagoon legend at PC a few years back. What a trip that was! I remember #16 … a par 3 cutting over the corner of the water back to the hotel. A fade produced a clanging, smashing kind of affect. That would be the cars in the adjacent hotel parking lot.

I’ve been going to PC Beach my entire life for vacation (since the 60’s), but since I’ve only been golfing for five years, last year was the first time I played there. I played Signal Hill on Thomas Dr., which is supposedly the first track built there. I had a great time, but will be trying a different one this summer. I can’t recall where the Marriott and these two courses are…......is it on the east end of the strip? Or, is it the one near the Hathaway bridge on the bay? I think one of those tracks is a Nicklaus design.

The Marriott and courses are located just the other side of the Naval Base. You will see the sign for the Marriott after you cross the bridge and make a left at the next light (before the overpass) about a mile down on the left. You will enjoy those two courses.

Lagoon Legend has also been redesigned and reopened as a Nicklaus course, I believe. It’s now called Bay Point. I’m sure it’s no less of a monster.

Bay Point ….. that’s the one I was thinking of! My bro-in-law played a round there last summer. He said it made a monkey out of him!

For those of you that may be interested, I do have a timeshare here at the Marriott that is a lock-out 2 bedroom/2 bath that I am interested in selling. If you would be interested please feel free to contact me for more information. Can’t beat the courses and the suites are beautiful.
