TaylorMade r7 Irons

I bought these on EBay last week after trying them out at Dicks. All I have to say is that these irons are unbelievably easy to hit!

With my beginner set from 5 years ago, I was constantly hitting to the right. No matter what I tried with my swing, I was very inconsistent.

Even mishits with the r7 seem to go straight. I had to really shank it bad to get the ball to slice, which out of 180 balls at the range, maybe 5 faded or sliced hard.

I highly recommend them. even for a high handicapper like myself (23)!

Anyone else play with these?

I’ve been looking at those clubs ever since I picked up the R7 425. Were they a used set?

Nope, got them brand new! I paid a hell of a lot less than retail. I also called TaylorMade directly to confirm the validity of the set from the serial number. The set I bid on was only for 4-PW. But I have seen sets that have 4-SW and 3-PW.

I should mention that I tried the r7 Draw, but they did not seem to suit my swing surprisingly. So I got the regular r7’s.

nice club selection. I was looking at the draw series myself are you a right or a left hook ;)
