A truly great course, but has one serious flaw. The course is built RIGHT NEXT to the Portland Speedway. I mean, like 300 yards away. We played out there on a Sunday afternoon and the noise from the place was deafening. Engines screaming, tires squealing, etc. We literally had to yell at each other the entire round. It was totally ridiculous.

The course was a little tricky to drive to but not overly difficult. I played the Green course as a walk-on and their starter and staff were very polite and did their best to get me on the course. (Even if I had not been able to play I would still rate their service high.) The course is more than fair and offers a very good challenge for the low and high handicap players. The greens happened to be rolling very fast and very smooth when I played, it was a little adjustment from what I'm used to but the conditions were great. Otherwise the rest of the course was in great shape and it looks like many of the bunkers were being re-done. All in all I was very pleased with my visit and am looking forward to visiting again.
