Tait and Eaton Co-Medalists

Denver, CO – Ashley Tait of Raccoon Creek GC and Kim Eaton of Riverdale GC earned co-medalist honors during the 18-hole stroke play qualifying round of the 2009 Coloraod Women’s Golf Association Match Play Championship hosted by Pinehurst Country Club each with 2-under par rounds of 70. Mary Doyen of Broken Tee Englewood GC was medalist in the Senior Division with a 5-over par round of 77. 

Forty-eight players (32 in the Open Division and 16 in the Senior Division) competed in the stroke play qualifying round. The remaining 56 players were pre-flighted and seeded by handicap index. A full field of 104 players will compete in the first round of match play tomorrow beginning at 7:00am. Championship Flight in the Open Division will play a morning and afternoon match.
