Elway Commits to Colorado Open

John Elway recently committed to play in the 2008 HealthONE Colorado Open Championship held the week of July 21-27 at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver. For Elway, this will be his third appearance in the Colorado Open, his last being in 2001 at Sonnenalp in Vail where he made the cut.
 
"I am playing well right now and am excited to compete against such a strong field of pros and amateurs —many of whom are friends of mine," said Elway.
 
"John Elway brings unmatched notoriety to our Championship and our cause (The First Tee), and he's got great game too," said Kevin Laura, CEO of the Colorado Open Golf Foundation.
